Town Administrator Robert Whritenour emphasized the importance of this article as the legislative centerpiece of the annual meeting. The omnibus municipal budget is article two. We're going to walk right through that—all of the individual departments. It's got the police, fire, DPW, administration, everything is in there, Whritenour explained. The budget is designed to fund services from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

The town is currently managing an approximate $122.7 million overall budget. While specific department-by-department figures will be debated at the meeting, the omnibus budget represents the town's commitment to maintaining essential services despite broader regional economic pressures and education cost spikes.
